White Lake - 6/20/20
Presented by Predator Baits
After having to reschedule our opener due to COVID-19 restrictions last month, we were finally able to kick off the season on White Lake today. We were, however, required to still 'social distance,' which is an interesting concept when you have 100+ people gathered in an outdoor setting, but everyone quickly adapted and things went off as we'd hoped. Another challenge came with high water levels, making launching more interesting, but still possible and we're happy to report no challenges were too significant to overcome for a successful tournament.
On the other hand, the water levels sure did pose some difficulty in figuring out the secret to approaching 20 lbs. by the day's end, and some guys seemed to have better luck with that. Winning the day's event were Brian Burmania and Don Watts, who weighed in 5 largemouth at 19.51 lbs. Right on their heels in 2nd place were Brett Haveman and Kyle Kempkers, with 19.49 lbs. Third place was secured by Mark Vilneff and Scott Hannahs, with a solid 18.84 lbs. for the day. First place Big Bass went to Larry Sebring, who impressed everyone with his 5.79 lb. largemouth.
See you at Muskegon Lake on 7/18/20!
