White Lake
6/23/18
|
Today's tourney on White Lake, presented by D&R Sports Center of Kalamazoo, saw modest temperatures and a much more comfortable day than last month's opener. With most boats catching a limit, only one smallmouth came across the scales, but less rare were some nice, fat largemouth - 4 of which weighed over 5 lbs.
Winning today's contest with 18.92 lbs. were Don Watts and Brian Burmania. In 2nd place were Norm Greene and Harv VanDeWeg, who weighed in with 18.61 lbs. Rounding out 3rd place were Wes Woodard and Tim Eaton, whose 18.25 lb. bag held the biggest bass of the day - Eaton's 5.93 lb. beast. Norm Greene took 2nd place for Big Bass with a 5.24 lb. largemouth, and just behind him were Herb Seidelman and Chuck Shrader with a 5.14 lb. catch. For complete results, scroll down. See you back at White Lake for the Dylan Compagner Memorial Open Tournament on 7/1/18! The next Classic Qualifier will be on the Grand River on 7/21/18. |
