We want to thank each and every one of you who were along for this season. We truly feel like Shoreline is a great group of anglers and enjoy the camaraderie. We are also extremely grateful for your generosity in supporting our mission to support the effort to discover the cure for MS by supporting the National MS Society. Between the raffle and the Dylan Compagner Memorial Tournament, we surpassed $4,000 in donations, which is far more than we could ever think was possible. We sincerely thank all of you who have supported this endeavor, both this year and in past years.
10/7/18

At long last, photos from the Classic are posted - click right here! Also, we are working on getting the 2019 schedule put together and hope to have that up soon! We will again be coordinating with a couple of the area's other popular clubs to allow you to fish multiple clubs if you want! Once that's ready to go, you will be able to find it right here, so check back for updates!

Classic boats - please plan to join us for a cook-out at our campsite at Traverse City State Park on Saturday, 8/15/18. We are pleased to announce that Tracker Marine and D&R Sports is generously providing the food for this!! No need for anyone to bring meat to grill or side dishes, but please bring your own beverages. We'll contact you all directly with more information about this and to take your orders!

We are incredibly happy to announce we raised $3,073 for the National MS Society at last week's event!! To see why we do this, you can read about it on Mindy's personal page.

Attention Bass Cat owners! Shoreline is again participating in the Quest tournament incentive program. If you purchased a 2000 or newer boat and still own it, you're already in. However, if you purchased a used Cat and haven't registered, you will need to do so if you would like to participate. Need info on how it works? We have a link to their page below, or feel free to contact Randy Bleeker at (231) 408-2295.

Early draw results are posted!!! Cross your fingers, then click here to see what kind of luck was on your side! We are very excited to say we have 10 more boats than last year!! We are thrilled to have everyone and are dedicated to running the club the best way we know how to make it a fun season for all. Can't wait to see everyone next month at Cadillac/Mitchell!

A discrepancy on two of our forms was recently brought to our attention. On the "Terms & Conditions of Registration and Payouts," the section on open tournaments says take-off positions will be assigned randomly on the morning of the tournament. For this year, that is not the case for the Dylan Compagner Memorial Open; as stated on the entry form for that tournament, take-off positions will be given in the order your entry form and payment are received. We have uploaded a corrected "Terms & Conditions of Registration and Payouts" form on our Forms page. We apologize for the error and any confusion this may have caused anyone!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the meeting last weekend! It was great to see everyone and catch up a little. Thank you to Chad Timmer and The Outdoorsmen for hosting us, offering us a special sale, and for the pair of Costa sunglasses, won by Cody Hendrixson. If you weren't at the meeting, it was decided that the 2-day Classic will be held on the Elk/Torch/Skegemog chain of lakes northeast of Traverse City. See the Schedule page for more info.

Registration packets were mailed out today! If you've fished with us in the last few years, keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of days. If you are not on our mailing list but would like a packet, please contact us and provide your name and address and we'll get one in your hands.

**NEWS FLASH!!** Following the annual meeting, the matter of the use of subs in the Classic was brought up, as several of you have children who participate in the Youth Hunt, which is the same weekend that we traditionally hold the Classic. We have reviewed the current rule and sought input from a few members and have decided to modify this rule. So - for the 2018 season, we WILL allow subs in the Classic under two conditions: #1) the sub must be the one and only sub used for the season for the member who can not fish the Classic; the rule still holds that there will be one sub, per member, per event, per season. #2) the sub used for the Classic must be a Shoreline member who fished the regular season in a Classic-eligible boat but did not qualify. Please see the modified Rule sheet on our Forms page. (This change pertains to Rule #4.). Also, please note, under Rule #2, we have clarified the registration postmark deadline is 4/14/18, not 4/15/18 (which is a Sunday).

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Sunday, 7/1/18 and plan to join us on White Lake for the 2nd Annual Dylan Compagner Memorial Open Tournament! Entry fee is $110 per boat and take-off positions will assigned in the order registration forms and entry fees are received. Registration for the event is open! You can snag a form
right here and reserve your spot!
