Muskegon Lake 6/24/17
Wind, waves, wind, and more wind - that about sums up the day on Muskegon today. Not only did it make for a rough day on the body, we spied one boat that came back with the trolling motor sadly riding on the front deck. However, in spite of that, plenty of teams caught a limit and we had some solid weights. First place for the day went to Scott Hannahs and Mark Vilneff, weighing in an impressive 17.45 lbs. Right behind them in 2nd place were Mike Anderson and Jesse Weener, with a total weight of 16.78 lbs., barely edging out
3rd place finishers Don Watts and Brian Burmania, who came in at 16.74 lbs.
In spite of Watts' unfamiliarity with using a net and nearly smashing it twice before scooping it, Big Bass of the day went to Brian Burmania, with a 4.74 lb. green beauty. Second place Big Bass went to Brent Krolczyk for his 4.32 lb. catch.
