3rd Annual Dylan Compagner
Memorial Tournament
White Lake - 8/18/19
Today's top 3 boats proudly display their checks, which will have to keep them content until they get their plaques...hey, if that was the only thing that went wrong, we think that's still a success =)

Today we again gathered at White Lake to celebrate the life Dylan Compagner - brother, son, grandson, friend, and one heck of a fine fisherman. This year's charity chosen by the Compagner family to receive the benefit of your generosity was the Outdoor Discovery Center of Holland. Through the sale of raffle tickets and the auctioning off of several donated items, well over $2,500 was raised (and more is expected to still show up!) for the organization!! We don't know what it is, but it seems there is always some sort of challenge handed to us by way of the weather on White Lake. This year was no different - the day started with a heavy fog that would later clear, but only to make room for a line of strong thunderstorms that drove around half of the fleet off the water. The day continued though, and everyone got back out to complete their best bag. The tournament was won by Randy Bleeker and Ed Opalek, who rolled in with 19.02 lbs. Randy also won the prize for Big Bass for a 5.85 lb. monster. Second place went to Herb Seidelman and Chuck Schrader, who weighed in at 18.69 lbs. Just behind them in 3rd place were Forrest Brown and Rick Taylor, with 18.37 lbs. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day with us!!
