Welcome to the Tips and Tricks page. Here we will list various boat, trailer, reel and other items as they come our way. If you have some please email them to us.
Here are a couple of .pdf files on two different style trailer bearing assemblies. The first is the chrome style bearing buddy and the second is for the aluminum cap style with the rubber plug. Both of these are for the Trailer Buddy brand. You will want to verify your brand and make sure it matches before following these notes.

If you have an Optimax Motor, here is a maintenance manual MaintenanceInformation-OptiMax.pdf
If you have Disc Brakes by Trailer Buddy, here is the brake acutator manual. A-60, 75 _ 84 Actuator Maintenance[1].pdf
IMPORTANT note please, and a tip that I had to learn the hard way. Every time you fill up for gas, as you are checking your oil, water, etc., check the lug nuts on your trailers. For whatever reason, they do have a tendency to loosen and maybe, this is hard to believe, vandals do loosen them as well. Don't wait to see one of your tires pass you on the e-way!
Again, make sure your brand of product matches those listed. Don't assume that just because yours is similar any of this information would apply. You agree that use of these manuals are at your own risk and discretion, and no way infers suggestions or recommendations by Shoreline Bass Tour. (Our lawyers made us say that. )
